Woot, Heroescon 2010 is set. I Always have a good time shopping around for collectibles, meeting the artists, getting some original art and checking out the costumes. Can’t wait!

Oh, Yeah I know it can get annoying but in the spirit of guest requests…

Yep. ConCarolinas is ALWAYS the weekend after Memorial Day. We’ve locked in our dates for several years to come.

I’m a bit disappointed. ConCarolinas/DeepSouthCon is the same weekend. I usually enjoy doing CC and HeroesCon back to back, but I guess I’ll have to skip this year.

I’d love to see some female creators invited: especially Gail Simone, Nicola Scott, and G. Willow Wilson. Also people like Angela Robinson, Felicia Henderson, Ivory Madison, Amanda Connor(I know she’s been there before), Kathryn Immonen, Sara Pichelli, Amanda McMurray, Amy Wolfram, Jen Van Meter, Trina Robbins. And the list could go on and on. It’s time to celebrate the achievement Women Creators have been making to the comic industry. It would be nice to even have a panel that featured the contributions of Women Creators to characters!

I would love another showing of Irwin Hasen’s biography. It was wonderful to watch. I laughed and cried. I wish more people had seen it. It might be nice to pair with a panel comparing the experiences of the older artists and the younger artists coming up through the ranks.
