HEROESCON :: Mike Mignola Signed/Numbered Incentive Print!
Behold, milords and ladies, the 2010 HeroesCon Advance Ticket Incentive, free to everyone who purchases an advance 3-day pass before 9pm on May 31st! This exclusive piece by Mike Mignola will be signed and numbered in a limited edition on fancy-dan print paper that is going to make your walls look ghoulishly amazing.
Here’s the catch: there is no catch! Just buy a 3-day pass before the cutoff, and this beauty will be waiting for you at the convention center when you check-in at the show! The last few year’s prints (by Bill Sienkiewicz in 2009 and Phil Noto in 2008) were pretty big runs, so there’s a fair chance your prints won’t be ready for you RIGHT when you show up. Mike has to sign all of them, after all.
Best of all, we give these out in the order the tickets are purchased, so the earlier you bought your pass, the lower your number will be! If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, head over to the Tickets page of our site to get the skinny on how to do it!
Let’s make The Heroes convention THE convention on the Eastern Seaboard… invite or pay Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, and Dave Dorman to come for Pete’s sake!!! Why all the no-bodies each year? Plenty of them but their autograph does nothing to increase the value of our comics. I’ve been coming to the convention since the early 90’s and the closest to excited I’ve been is when Jim Lee or Jim Choi showed. Where’s Mark Silvestri? Please Hereos… talk these people up already. Bernie Wrightson is the best you’ve got this year. I’m sad.
Are you being sarcastic? Liefeld is on the Guest List already, and I’ll announce Dorman probably tonight or tomorrow. Our guest list is all talent and frankly I take umbrage at your “no-bodies” comment, we think of our guests as family and don’t make distinctions based on how many books someone sells each month. If you are interested in autographs increasing the value of your comics, I respectfully suggest that HeroesCon may not be the convention for you.
Ripley,
If you are looking for exciting investment opportunities, might I suggest investing in this time share I have in Florida? Cha-Ching!
Really? Ben Templesmith? Mark Waid? Tim Sale? Bill Willingham? Jim Starlin? Mike Mignola… never heard of any of those guys? Really? You’re more excited about Rob, I created two characters that are successful now because they’ve been reinvented and drawn significantly better, Liefeld and nobody else. Dude, read a comic book that’s been written in the past 10 years.
Wow, reading this thread just made my Saturday. Thanks, Heroes staff. You are THE BEST. Phil, my hat’s off to you as always.
