HEROES CONVENTION was founded in 1982 by Shelton Drum, owner of Charlotte's Heroes Aren't Hard To Find comics shop. Since then the convention has become famous for its comics-first and family-friendly atmosphere, where fans can mingle directly with professionals and exhibitors. Boasting an incredible guest list built mainly on reputation and goodwill, HeroesCon is known nationwide as a "must" on the summer schedule, drawing fans, exhibitors, and creators from every region of the country to the Charlotte Convention Center.

HEROESCON 2025 RETURNING ARTISTS:
Applications to rebook your tables from the 2025 Heroes Convention have closed at this time.
Now that those applications are closed, invoices have been sent to everyone who filled out the RETURNING ARTIST APPLICATION.
Please email [email protected] if you missed the deadline and would like to be added to applications going out on February 6, 2026.
NEW ARTIST ALLEY APPLICANTS:
Applications for remaining Artist Alley Tables will be made available to New Applicants beginning on February 6, and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
ARTIST ALLEY TABLES ARE LIMITED
Completing an application does NOT guarantee a table at the 2026 Heroes Convention.

Our small, hardworking, staff couldn’t pull it off each year without the help of our dedicated volunteers, lovingly nicknamed “Kibby’s Sidekicks” in memory of our friend, and HeroesCon Volunteer Extraordinare, Charles Kibby.
If you would like to sign up to be a Sidekick at our 2026 show,
applications will be available after the first of the year.
