PRESS PASSES

Press Passes to the 2026 Heroes Convention are only approved for legitimate media outlets, and to Social Media & YouTube accounts that meet the criteria after submitting an application, along with verified credentials.

Please note that managing a Facebook Page, or other social media account does not qualify as a "legitimate media outlet".

Social Media Accounts with a following of less than 5K+ and Podcasts with fewer than 2K+ listeners may not qualify for Press/Media Credentials.

PRESS PASSES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL.

We will send an email confirmation by May 12, 2026 to all approved applicants.

Anyone wishing to apply for Press Credentials to our 2026 Show, please complete a Press Pass Application HERE.

You must provide verified Press Credentials - OR - provide links to at LEAST THREE articles/videos for consideration.

• Social Media and YouTube Accounts with a following of less than 5K+, and Podcasts with fewer than 2K+ listeners may not qualify for Press/Media Credentials to the Heroes Convention.
  
  
• Press Passes ONLY COVER ONE INDIVIDUAL.
  Not a couple, a group, or an entity.
  
  
• We will only comp ONE PRESS PASS per couple/group/entity.
  Each additional Press Pass for a couple/group/entity will cost $50.00, and must be paid in advance.
  (We will send invoices for additional, approved, Press Passes.)
  
  You cannot purchase a Press Pass at the show.
  Anyone in your team who has not pre-paid for their credentials will be required to purchase a 3-Day Pass at the show for $80.00, or a day-of pass.
  (Day-of passes are: Friday - $40, Saturday - $40, Sunday - $35)
  
  Press Passes cannot be transferred or shared. 
  
  
• EVERYONE in a couple, group, or entity must complete a Press Pass application separately.
  Multiple persons cannot apply under one application.
  
  
• Press Passes DO NOT INCLUDE EARLY ENTRY*
  Press Pass Holders will get in during GENERAL ADMISSION HOURS, all three days.
  
  *Only Press Pass Holders from Accredited News Affiliates (ie: ABC, CBS, NBC, etc.) may qualify for early entry - and ONLY with APPROVAL, as well as the correct wristband.
  
  
• You must provide verified Press Credentials - OR - provide links to at LEAST THREE articles for consideration.
  
  
• Press/Media Credentials must be requested at least 60 days before start of event to be considered.
  
  
• Permission must be granted to use photography of any person(s) or creative property before publication.
  
  
• You are NOT ALLOWED to film or photograph without consent.
  If you are filming with the intent to publish online, you MUST INFORM any persons whose identity may be published that they are being filmed and receive their consent.
  
  VIOLATING THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF YOUR PRESS PASS CREDENTIALS, AND POTENTIAL EXPULSION FROM THE SHOW.
  
  
• There are areas of the show where filming is NOT ALLOWED.
  Please be aware of posted notices.
  
  
• Interviews must not interfere with Convention Scheduling or inhibit or interrupt a creators appearance at event.
  
  
• If posting to social media, please tag the event @heroesonline in your post and use the hashtag #HeroesCon2026
  
  
• Press/Media credentials do not exclude the bearer from any rules/regulations/restrictions put in place by the Heroes Convention. Failure to comply with Heroes Convention regulations may result in expulsion from the grounds of the Charlotte Convention Center.
  
  
• Press/Media will adhere to all recommended health & safety protocol put in place by the Heroes Convention and/or the Charlotte Convention Center.
  
  
• Press/Media will adhere to the Code-Of-Conduct issued by the Heroes Convention. Any breach of this Code will result in forfeiture of Press/Media Credentials, explusion from the grounds of the Charlotte Convention Center, as well as potential legal ramifications.
