HELP US MAKE IT TO HEROESCON!

We hope you are as excited as we are for the 40th Anniversary of the Heroes Convention, June 24 – 26 at the Charlotte Convention Center.

This year’s HeroesCon will be the largest we’ve ever hosted, and we look forward to seeing all of you there.

As we get closer to the event, we want to take a minute to talk about our store and convention covid safety recommendations.

Effective immediately, all store staff will be required to wear masks while in the store. We will not require customers to wear masks, but we kindly encourage all of our customers to wear them in the store right up through HeroesCon weekend. If you don’t have a mask, we will have some available. If you choose not to wear a mask in our store, we respect your choice, but ask that you practice social distancing around all other customers and staff. Covid numbers are unfortunately rising again in many places, including Charlotte. With many customers visiting our store each day from out of town, we want to ensure that everyone stays well. 

While you may be familiar with our store and convention, you may not realize that we have a small, dedicated staff of seven employees, three of whom comprise the core HeroesCon management team. It is essential that our entire staff continues to work all the way through HeroesCon in order to make this the convention we’ve all been anticipating.  We know that wearing masks can be hot and uncomfortable, especially in the summer, but we appreciate your help in our efforts to keep everyone healthy and working.

As of now, we are not requiring masks or proof of vaccination in order to attend the Heroes Convention. However, as in our store, we encourage all attendees to wear masks at the convention, even if you are vaccinated. There will be tens of thousands of people from all over the world converging on the Charlotte Convention Center next month, and we want everyone to remain healthy.

CONTINUED SAFE SHOPPING GUIDELINES:

• We will provide hand sanitizer for you to use upon entering and exiting the store.  
   
• Please be respectful of social distance and personal space while in our store.
  That’s just common sense. Don’t crowd others while shopping, it’s creepy. 
   
• Staff will continue to sanitize and wash our hands as often as possible.  
   
• WE ASK THAT ANYONE WHO FEELS UNWELL TO PLEASE STAY HOME. (This includes our staff!)
  That is ALSO good common sense. If you feel unwell, STAY HOME!
   
• WE CAN SHIP!!
  We can ship to anyone, anywhere! (Well, anywhere that USPS or UPS delivers…so maybe not SPACE??)

  Monday-Tuesday & Thursday-Saturday: 10am-7pm
  Wednesday: 10am-9pm
  Sunday: 1pm-6pm

The first ever Giant-Size Charlotte Mini-Con is over and a part of history!

ADVANCE TICKETS

The Giant-Size Charlotte Mini-Con is just days away!

In an effort to help alleviate wait times and lines, we are providing the opportunity for Advance Ticket holders to check in early, and skip the line at the Charlotte Convention Center on Saturday morning.

Tickets:

Tickets and Health & Safety Pre-Checks will be issued in the form of a water-proof, medical-grade, hypoallergenic, Tyvec wristband which must be worn until the end of the show on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Starting on Wednesday afternoon, November 3, you can pick up your Advance Tickets/Wristbands to the Giant-Size Charlotte Mini-Con, and pre-check with your vaccination cards and/or negative covid tests.
Tickets and Covid Pre-Check wristbands can be collected at our store, located at 417 Pecan Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28204, until Friday night, November 5 at 7 p.m.

You may not collect wristbands on behalf of anyone 13+ who is not present at the time of application. Wristbands will be applied by a member of the Heroes Staff at the time of pick-up, and must not be removed until after the show.
If you lose or remove your wristband before entry on Saturday or Sunday, you will be required to purchase a new wristband, as well as reconfirm your health & safety check.

Children 12 and under will not require a wristband for entry to the show.

Health & Safety Pre-Check:

We will accept Rapid and/or at-home Covid tests. A readable photo of your vaccination card or proof of vaccination on a smart phone or print-out will also be accepted. 

Children 13 – 18 must show proof of vaccination or a negative test result.

Children 12 and under do not need to show a proof of vaccination or a negative covid test, but will be required to wear a mask while they are inside the premise of the Charlotte Convention Center.

Per the Mecklenburg County Mask Mandate:
Everyone is required to wear a mask while inside the premises of the Charlotte Convention Center.

THE HEROES CONVENTION RETURNS
JUNE 24-26, 2022!

June 24-26, 2022 will mark the 40th Anniversary of the Heroes Convention!

After TWO YEARS of pandemic handcuffs, we plan to pull out ALL THE STOPS to make our 40TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW one FOR THE AGES!

ALL 2020/2021 HeroesCon Tickets, Artist Alley Tables and Exhibitor Booth Reservations have automatically transferred to the 2022 Heroes Convention at this time.

We hope that you will continue to support us as we begin planning our 40th Anniversary show.

We have LOTS of exciting announcements to come over the next 9+ months, and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got in store!!
